Songs for the King

Psalm 23:1
The LORD is my Shepherd.  I have everything I need.
Psalm 23:4
Though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
For you are with me.  Your right hand will hold me fast.
(variation of different translations of the Bible)
When you let the King into your life, every day will be an adventure.

I write fairy-stories.  That is what J R R Tolkien called it.  He didn't like to call it a fantasy or a fairy tale, because a tale is just a fictional story that is told and a fantasy is like a lie that was created.  He wrote a very large essay called "On Fairy Stories".  I'm reading it.

I ventured to the shadowy old bookstore far away, and explored the narrow passages between towering straight shelves. Found the Return of the King, the Unfinished Tales, and the Silmarillion, the epic history of the Elves. Brought the treasures home so I could scavenge the pages for elvish and copy it onto paper and translate it. I'm teaching myself Elvish.
Went to the library and brought back other Tolkien books about Elvish.   I am studying from them(Tree and Leaf, his biography, book about his languages which isn't complete, etc.), and writing down as much as I can. Watched a Doctor Who episode with my sister. Organizing things. Reading Aurlalia's Colors with my mom.

Comment below if you know any Elvish or want to join me in this adventure.
