Finishing

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.
~Revelations 21:6

Hi!  This is the end of a chapter and the beginning of another.  I finished Nanowrimo!  First year and I did it!  But I didn't finish the story...  Perhaps I will have to write it with a quill pen and ink on paper and stick the paper into the free copies of the books that I'll get.  It is amazing.  I am so excited.  The last thing I was writing when I finished 50,000 words was a scene that could be called an ending but too many strings are left hanging.  I know what is going to happen though...
The last scene that I was writing was at the very end before it turned midnight and I could no longer update my word count on Nanowrimo.
Merry Christmas!  Happy Thanksgiving!  Happy December!
Now I'll have to do a lot of school..................................
Have a great... life!
God bless you!

Nano again

I am in.  I'm quite a few thousand words behind, but I am in.  I can do this.
Philippeans 4:13 says "I can do All things through Christ who gives me strength."
I am 17,000 words through.  I need to write six thousand words...  also need to read something if I want to get good words in me.  For some reason, my creativity words ran dry and so I stopped.  Maybe if I read some, I'll be able to write better again.
I am excited to see Les Miserables, Rise of the Guardians(in the dollar theater or DVD when it comes out in the library) maybe, and the Hobbit Part 1: An Unexpected Journey.
I can do this.  I can write.  So can you. :)
See you later.

Contest and Names

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.  ~~~Ecclesiastes 9:11

Okay so there's this contest on a cool writer's blog and if you enter you might just win a copy of two books - the Soldier's Cross, and the Shadow Things - for free!  Here's a link to it. :)

I already own a copy of the Soldier's Cross - and it was a good book!  It was written by someone in her teens.  It was surprisingly well written. :)  So there's my shout-out.

I've begun my Nanowrimo novel!  I have several names for it that could each work well - Thimble, The Maiden of Wulden Hall, The Fate of Journey Smith, etc.  I think I like the name Thimble best, though the first name I had had for it was the Maiden of Wulden Hall.  There's already a book called King's Gate so I decided not to call it that. :)
What do you think?  Which name do you like best?
